LOVE the Fall - HATE Halloween

It's official, M has an opinion...it may change daily, but she makes it known. We started off being Mulan for Halloween - we bought the Disney Store costume and all...currently we are going to be a Hawkeye cheerleader. On any given day the last two weeks we were going to be a butterfly, a crocodile, Dora, or Dr. Gantz. I have learned NEVER buy your child's Halloween costume more than one day before Halloween. In fact, perhaps you should not even talk about Halloween because the subject of costumes may come up. Opinions are great - when they are my own!

Bloomsbury Farm

We had a family day at Bloomsbury Farm this Sunday. It was great fun and we spent the better part of the afternoon there. M loved the animals and the corn sand box. We loved making her pose for the Children of the Corn photo! I LOVE the fall.

This weekend we also had a CI picnic for my work. The evening after the picnic M proclaimed that she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up. I told her that was great, to which she replied, "I want to be Dr. Gantz." Just a cute little story for you oto friends of mine!

First Haircut

M had her first haircut on Sunday thanks to Grandma...she evened out the back, so as to not appear as though M was sporting a mullet. Looks great. See above...

In other news Eric proclaimed last night that, "this is the worst day of my life." This was immediatly following Meara showing up at his side downstairs after being gated upstairs for bed. Yep - she has mastered the baby gate!

San Antonio

We have just returned from a short jaunt to San Antonio to visit Aunt Holly. We had a lovely time and M thoughroughly enjoyed herself - here are a few highlights.

Lots of fun at the Zoo and Seaworld - - - just wait until you get the opportunity to see M's Shamu impression! And, can someone explain why all killer whales at all Seaworld's are named Shamu?
